Sounds of the 70s - Naas Musical Society
Naas Musical Society brings the music of the 1970s to the Moat Theatre, Naas, from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 November 2026, with performances at 8pm nightly.
This lively annual fundraising concert will celebrate one of music’s greatest decades with memorable songs, energetic choreography and outstanding live performances.
Audiences can look forward to favourites including Crocodile Rock, Burning Love and Time Warp, along with an ABBA medley, a James Bond tribute and many more familiar hits.
Sounds of the 70s is directed by Claire O’Reilly, Sean O’Keeffe and David Kirk, with Tom Joyce as Musical Director and Chloe Connolly as Choreographer.
Proceeds from the concert will support Naas Musical Society’s 2027 production of The Clockmaker’s Daughter, which comes to the Moat Theatre from 6 to 12 March 2027.
Whether you remember the decade first-hand or simply enjoy great live music, Sounds of the 70s promises a fun-filled evening of singing, dancing and nostalgia—all while supporting local theatre.
